Westminster Arts
Westminster Arts is a Charity in the City of Westminster. We provide funding and support to a wide range of local groups, organisations and individuals, and develop projects that enrich the arts in the community. Since 1985 Westminster Arts has been generously funded by Westminster City Council and we work closely to ensure our services benefit people living, working or studying in the City of Westminster.
Supporting Arts in the Community
On an annual basis, Westminster Arts funds between 30-40 creative arts projects that benefit the local community.
We support a wide range of activities and projects including festivals and cultural events, dance, theatre, visual arts, film, photography, literature, spoken word and music and we support individual artists through our Professional Development Awards for Artists scheme. We deliver our own exciting projects through the Westminster Arts Initiative Fund.

Open Exhitibition 2008
– Call for Artists
This year, the Westminster Arts Open Exhibition runs from Sat 8 – Sat 22 November 2008.
It highlights the extraordinary range of work by artists who live, work or study in Westminster. It provides an opportunity for dozens of local artists to exhibit and sell their work for two weeks in the beautiful SW1 Gallery in Victoria.

Film & Digital (Moving Image)
Bursaries 2008 – call for film makers
The Bursary scheme is run by Westminster Arts and supported by Film London and the Curzon Cinema Soho. The Bursary is open to film-makers who live, work or study in Westminster and supports the production or completion of short film projects. The deadline is: noon, 5 September 2008.
