“I will never forget that Westminster Arts was responsible for giving Streetwise Opera its first
ever grant – this helped
us stage our first project
with homeless people and receiving the grant gave
me the encouragement
I needed to put Streetwise Opera firmly on the map.
We now work in 11
homeless centres and
have taken our work to
North America, Japan
and Australia.”

Matt Peacock,
CEO, Member of Westminster Arts

Founded in 1965 with the help of Yehudi Menuhin (1916-1999), violinist and ambassador of Goodwill to UNESCO, Westminster Arts has consistently developed, fostered and promoted the arts in Westminster.

We are a small and highly effective charity run by a team of experts. We work with volunteers and industry experts to make informed decisions about how best to fund projects and deliver high quality services the community needs.

Our board of trustees is made up of representatives from the arts and cultural sector, the local community and Westminster City Council representatives.
